GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is the practice of optimizing your brand so it appears and is cited when generative AI engines like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or Gemini answer questions for their users. As more people ask AI before they search Google, GEO has become the new SEO for brands that want to keep being discovered.
How is GEO different from traditional SEO?
